Drawings Ready for Sign Off

If a site survey is not possible, we will create detailed drawings of the proposed roller shutter installation. These drawings include precise measurements, materials, and specifications. We will present these drawings to you for sign off, ensuring that all your requirements are met and any modifications are incorporated before proceeding with the installation.

Manufacturing time

When it comes to manufacturing roller shutters, the typical time frame is between 3 to 6 weeks and is very much dependant on the type of shutter. There is no standard sizes and all our shutters are made to order. 

Manufacturing time also includes various stages such as cutting, welding, powder coating, and quality control checks. These steps ensure that the roller shutters not only provide security and protection but also enhance the aesthetic appeal of any space. 

Additionally, the manufacturing time allows for customization options to be incorporated, such as different colours, finishes, and operational mechanisms. This ensures that the roller shutters perfectly match the desired style and functionality of the customer. 

While the manufacturing time may seem relatively long, it is necessary to ensure the production of roller shutters that are reliable, durable, and tailored to the specific needs of each customer. 

Install time

When it comes to installing roller shutters, the process is relatively quick and efficient. Normal installation time for a single shutter is 4 to 6 hours depending on site conditions.

Firstly, the technician will assess the area where the roller shutters are to be installed. This includes check measuring the dimensions and inspecting the surroundings to ensure that the shutter can be fitted correctly first time.

The technician will then proceed to mount the endplates and guides, ensuring they are securely fixed to the wall or frame. The barrel is then fixed between the end plates and shutter curtain mounted to the barrel. Alignment of the shutter is then checked to ensure the shutter runs correctly within the opening and is functioning properly. Any adjustments or fine-tuning may be done at this stage.

Final part of any roller shutter installation is the electrics including connecting to the electric spur, setting the limits and fitting any key switch or safety devices required.
