Insulated Industrial Roller Doors
Insulated Industrial Roller Doors are suitable for internal and external openings in a wide range of applications such as warehouses, industrial units, garages, workshops, bus depots, agricultural buildings etc.
The Industrial Doors provide insulation whilst retaining the standard roller shutter drive system, which is easy to install and maintain.
Conserve heat and reduce noise
The design of the insulated lath complete with the CFC free polystyrene infill helps to maintain a comfortable working environment by ensuring heat leaving the building is kept to a minimum and also acts as a barrier to prevent cold air entering the building. Giving a “U” value of 0.69 w/m2k and an acoustic value of 18dBA.

Electrically operated
Ideally suited for industrial applications that require frequent usage. Operated by a single phase 240volt or 3 phase 415 volt electric motor mechanism. The standard actuation method is via an up, down and stop push button station but can be changed to a key switch for security purposes. A manual override continuous haul chain is provided for use in the event of a power failure.
We offer two different types of lath/slat for our Insulated Industrial Doors:
Insuroll
Each individual lath is made up of two interlocking sections held together over their length by the interlocking quirk profile. Each section is 100 mm deep with a twin indented face and is built up together with nylon endlocks to form the complete curtain.
The CFC and HFCFC free polystyrene is inserted into each lath section to provide a “U” value of 0.69 w/m2k and an acoustic value of 18dBa.
Insufoam
The foam filled lath is a double skin profile roll-formed from a single steel section featuring a hot injection polyurethane central core. The infill bonds to the internal face of the section providing strength, rigidity and of course excellent thermal and acoustic values.
The 75 mm deep lath has a “U” value of 2.4 w/m2k and a “R” value of 0.42 m2. k/W and an acoustic value of 21dBa.
Both the Insuroll and the Insufoam insulated roller shutter door can be supplied in a standard galvanised steel finish or can be part or fully powder coated to almost any standard RAL or BS colour. (Please check colour availability prior to quotation)
On the Insuroll a popular option is to have one face of the curtain (usually the external face) finished in Plastisol HPS200
On the Insufoam there is a limited number of plastisol finishes available which are colour coated to both faces of the curtain
White, Black, Goosewing Grey, Merlin Grey, Ocean blue, Sargasso Blue, Solent Blue, Olive Green, Heritage Green, Moorland Green, Juniper Green, Van dyke Brown, Mushroom, Aztec Yellow and Poppy Red.

Each Ganymede Insulated roller shutter door has been fully tested to the CPR (Construction Products Regulation) EN13241-1:2003 + A1:2011 by a UKAS accredited testing laboratory and is supplied with a DoP (Declaration of Performance)
Each door is also fully compliant to the machinery directive 98 / 37 / EC.
It has been mandatory for the installer of the door to “CE” mark the product to the machinery directive since January 1st 1995.
Lastly, Insulated Indutrial Roller Doors are easy to operate and maintain.
